Incredible hiking trails
Experience pure silence and breathtaking views on this renowned hiking trail. Scaling 1000m above sea level along the cliff face, this will be worth every step.
Beatiful waterfalls
Less than 5km from the Nala cabin, you'll land right at the base of Salt del Mir waterfall, which flows from the Pyrenees mountains.
Hit the slopes
Nala is about an hour drive from two incredible ski slopes in the Pre-Pyrenees. Choose between the larger La Molina which has slopes for all levels, or the smaller Vall de Núria situated in a unique valley with a lake.
Rock pools
Hike through the surrounding terrain to take a plunge in hidden rock pools and waterfalls that are only known to the locals.
Mas Clarella Vineyard
Head to lunch at La Cabanya del Mir near the Salt Del Mir waterfall or spend the afternoon at the nearby winery to learn (and taste) their beautiful wine.
Caves & cliff dwellings
Explore the ancient cliff dwellings and underground caves that date back hundreds of years.
Historic town
The nearby quiet town is a favourable swap for the busy crowds of Barcelona. There's a little café and a great restaurant to enjoy, with the background sound of church bells.

About Nala
📍 How do you get to Nala?
You can travel to Nala via car or public transport (train and short taxi ride).
After booking your chosen cabin, you’ll receive an online ‘Welcome Guide’ detailing the exact location of the cabin and directions by car or train and taxi. If you’re travelling by train, we highly recommend booking your connecting taxi in advance, as rural locations don’t tend to have Uber!
📚 What is there to do in the cabin?
The cabin is your space to relax in any way you like to. We recommend getting your hiking boots on and exploring the local area. Our hosts have lived in the area their whole lives, so have created a detailed welcome guide with recommendations of hikes, waterfalls, restaurants and other hidden spots nearby.
For days or evenings in the cabin, we’ve kitted it out with lots of phone-free activities, including:

⏰ What time is check-in and check-out?

🍽 Is food provided?
We don't currently offer food packages but we're working on it!
All cabins have a well-equipped kitchen including a mini-fridge and gas hob to cook up your fave meals. We include pots, pans, cooking utensils and even chef knives. Plus, loose leaf tea, coffee beans, oil, salt and pepper.
If you’re looking for a night or two away from the stove, there’s restaurants and eateries nearby, as listed in your welcome guide.
🚿 Is there a toilet and hot shower?
Yes! All our cabins have hot showers and an eco-composting toilet in an indoor bathroom. We provide eco-friendly toiletries and luxury towels, too!
🚶 Is it suitable for solo travellers?
Nala is on private land and is lockable from the inside and outside, but it is very remote so it would be a true off-grid experience.
🔥 Do you include firewood?
We include enough firewood for your first night. You can add full log store access to your booking for €20 on checkout, which includes firewood, kindling and firelighters.
Locking your phone away
🔐 Do I have to lock my phone away?
No, the digital detox is entirely self-policed. However, we do massively recommend you unplug for the full duration of your stay to get feel entirely disconnected from your normal day to day. Our lockboxes have a padlock and key, with the key in a sealed envelope, so if you want to unlock it, you can.
📞 What if I need to contact someone?
We provide you with a Nokia so you can reach our cabin support team and contact friends and family if you need to. The number for the Nokia will be shared with you in advance of your stay.
Booking and cancellation
🗓 Can we stay for less than 3 or 4 nights?
All our stays are 3 or 4 nights as this is the minimum time it takes to fully switch off and reap the benefits of nature and time offline. You can read more about 'The 3 Day Effect' here.
💳 What is your cancellation policy?
We know plans can change, so we’ll always do what we can to accommodate booking amendments. If your check-in date is over 28 days away, your stay can be rebooked for a new date or you can request a voucher, or a full refund. If your check-in date is within 14-28 days, you can move your stay to a future date, or request a voucher equal to the payment you have made. Cancellations or amendments are unfortunately not possible if your check-in date is in or within 14 days. All bookings have a 48 hour cooling off period, so if you change your mind you can reschedule your stay or get a full refund. Rescheduled stays are non-refundable.
